Sunday 1 February 2026:
Lilydale Community Day

Join us on Sunday 1 February for Lilydale Community Day! It's a family friendly event and entry is free. The entire Lilydale and Yarra Valley community is invited to attend, whether you've been to the club before or not. Bookings aren't required, except for barefoot bowls.

Find out everything you need to know about the event on our Community Day page. If you have any questions or would like to receive updates please contact us via Live Chat or email barefootbowling@gmail.com

We look forward to seeing you at Lilydale Community Day and hope you had a great time!

Sunday 2 November:
Working Bee

Thank you to the 25 members who put in their time and effort at the club working bee. Various work was undertaken, including landscaping, gardening, cleaning the kitchen and other areas, hanging pictures in the back room, relocating the first aid room etc. There is more work to be done in the future, therefore another working bee is being planned for December. We would love to see some new faces helping out!

Sunday 12 October:
Women's Fours Region Champions

They've done it again! Well done to Lilydale's Jan O'Regan, Jessica Wallace, Olivia Slade, and Vicki Smith on winning the Eastern Ranges Bowls Region's Women's Fours. That makes four in a row for Jan and Vicki, three in a row for Jess, and the second win for Liv. Best of luck in the State Championships in Bendigo in April!

Saturday 4 October:
Club Triples Champions

Congratulations to Donna Watson, Paivi O'Neill, and Russell Prouse for winning the 2025/26 Club Triples Championship.

A round robin format was held on Saturday 4 October with 20 teams each playing 3 games. The top 8 teams then played off in 3 end knockout games, with Rusty's team proving too good.

Sunday August 31:
John Snell Club Triples Challenge

The third annual John Snell Club Triples Challenge was held on Sunday 31 August with teams from around Victoria coming to Lilydale to battle it out, and also raise funds for The Royal Children's Hospital Foundation. Congratulations to the winning side - Lilydale's Josh Sanders, Olivia Slade, and John Snell himself!

An amazing $28,000 was raised on the day, with many clubs and supporters digging deep for a worthy cause.

Saturday 23 August:
Club Fours Champions & Opening Day

The Club Fours Championship was held on Opening Day this season with a round robin format consisting of 3 games and a top four knockout. Congratulations to Adrian Gillespie, Luca Vignola, Margaret Conley, and Steven Kelly on their victory to start the season.

Bowlers also enjoyed a great lunch with many Life Members in attendance.
